Aside from adding Hocus Pocus to its library, Hulu could do a few more things to improve its service. For example, many people share their Hulu accounts with friends and family. Building relationships and fostering goodwill is important, but Hulu needs to recognize this.
They limit the number of devices that can stream from a single account to one. It can be a hassle for those who are used to the convenience of sharing their account credentials with friends. Hulu should consider allowing multiple devices to stream from a single account so that everyone can enjoy their favorite shows.
Hulu may make it more difficult to take advantage of account sharing, but it’s possible. You can still easily stream content from your computer to your TV, allowing everyone to still benefit from the convenience of account sharing. So while Hulu may add a slight inconvenience to the process, it’s ultimately still an option.
With a monthly fee to access Hulu’s digital library, we expect a much better viewing experience. Instead, shows are bombarded with ads way too often, disrupting the flow of the content. Even if you use an Ad Blocker on your computer, Hulu still forces you to silence during what could have been an ad. But the number of ads on Hulu Basic can be unbearable. So, it’s not only an issue of frequency but also a disruption.
If Disney wants to maximize their investment in Hulu truly, it should focus on providing an enjoyable viewing experience. That means understanding and respecting the limits of ad frequency and ensuring that ads improve the viewing experience. In addition, Hulu should be a place where users can watch shows with minimal disruption.
If you’re like us, an internet native, you’re probably used to not paying for content and having the freedom to block out ads with your devices. So, when we experienced frequent interruptions from ads, we knew it was time to upgrade our Hulu membership to Premium.
Hulu offers an excellent service; however, it can improve the user experience and ease of use. We know that many of our frustrations may be due to contract negotiations. However, our opinion is still heavily influenced by these factors.
